Hosted by the Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs, a division of the SC Department of Public Safety, the Law Enforcement Challenge gives South Carolina law enforcement agencies participating in the SC Law Enforcement Network a chance to win a fully equipped patrol vehicle and/or hand-held speed measuring devices. This is based on their participation in joint-enforcement initiatives, SCLEN meeting attendance, and proper reporting during the challenge period.

The 2026 Law Enforcement Challenge period is December 1, 2026 – September 6, 2027

Agencies participating must meet certain requirements to be eligible for the awards. See below for more information on participation requirements and reporting schedules.
